A new experience: a “sea of clouds” in the bamboo forest
Starting Wednesday, July 1, Bamboo Forest at Wakayama Farm is opening a new “Bamboo Sea of Clouds” (Take Unkai) area featuring the latest dry-fog technology. An artificial sea of clouds will drift through the bamboo forest, creating a dreamlike scene unlike anything you've seen here before.

The new cloud system releases an ultra-fine mist at regular intervals, creating a dreamlike sea of clouds that drifts low around the base of the bamboo. The clouds change with each day's temperature, humidity and wind, so every visit offers a view you can only see at that moment.
- A mysterious scene of bamboo wrapped in mist
- Shafts of sunlight filtering through the bamboo leaves
- A dreamlike space that looks different in the morning and evening
Where nature meets technology: come and enjoy a new bamboo forest experience you won't find anywhere else.
