Bamboo shoot harvesting tomorrow, Sunday, April 27

Bamboo shoot harvesting will also be available tomorrow, Sunday, April 27.
The number of bamboo shoots is dropping day by day, and finding one is becoming something of a treasure hunt. If you'd still like to try bamboo shoot harvesting, please come along. Even if you don't dig one up, you can enjoy a refreshing walk through our magnificent bamboo forest.
Also, so that as many visitors as possible can enjoy bamboo shoot harvesting, we ask you to follow the rules below.
◆ Bamboo shoot harvesting is limited to one bamboo shoot per person.
◆ Bamboo shoots you dig up are weighed and charged at ¥1,080 per kg.
◆ If you'd like more, bamboo shoots dug by our staff are available at ¥1,728 per kg. Stock is limited, and we apologize if they sell out. We're unable to set any aside for phone requests.
◆ Please share one rental hoe per group where possible, and return it promptly to the tool area at the entrance when you've finished.
◆ Please harvest only in the part of the bamboo forest our staff show you.
◆ For anything else, please follow our staff's instructions on the day.
Please note that, except for groups, no reservation is needed for bamboo shoot harvesting.
It is likely to be busier than usual during Golden Week, and you may have to wait for parking, at reception or to return tools. Please keep this in mind when planning your visit.
Information on bamboo shoot harvesting from Monday, April 28 onward will be posted on the evening before each day.
